Always keep your originals. Currently: v0.27.

Works well over water, sand and uniform backgrounds. Over reef or dense vegetation the result is uneven, so always check before downloading.

This tool turns the selected area into neutral grey. Pick something that was actually grey or white in real life, such as a tank, a light-coloured fin or a slate. Do not pick water, plants, coral or animals.

Export runs in real time and keeps the audio when the browser allows it. H.264 videos work best; some MOV files recorded in HEVC cannot be opened in every browser.

How it works
Three steps, no learning curve
1 · Upload the photo
Drag in a JPG, PNG, WEBP or RAW. The editor analyses the image and applies local adaptive corrections to improve colour, contrast and readability under water.
2 · Choose a preset and intensity
Start with Our favourites or open the category that best matches the scene. Mediterranean Gorgonians and Pelagics and Whales keep the looks calibrated during the editor's development.
3 · Fine-tune and download
If you want more control: tone curve, eyedropper selective colour, split toning, cropping for feed or reels, and direct download.
Your photos never leave your device
All processing happens in the browser. There is no server upload, no storage and no watermark on the download.
Built for the Mediterranean
Most tools assume turquoise tropical water. These presets start from real photos of Mediterranean walls, with their deep blue and their purples.
Everything unlocked, no account
Presets are organised into categories with six looks in each, plus curves, selective colour and split toning. No sign-up and no watermark.
Frequently asked questions
What people usually ask
Are my photos stored on any server?
No. The editor runs entirely inside your browser using Canvas. The image is never sent anywhere, not even temporarily, so it cannot be stored or analysed either.
Why do my underwater photos come out blue or green?
Water absorbs light by wavelength. Red is the first to go, at around five metres, followed by orange and yellow. From there the camera only receives blues and greens, which is why the scene looks flat even though you remember more colour with your own eyes.
Does it work with RAW files from my camera?
Yes. The editor opens the most common RAW formats — such as ARW, CR2, CR3, NEF, DNG, RAF, RW2 and ORF — using the high-resolution JPEG preview the camera stores inside the file. It is a fast, fully local way to open them, meant for editing and publishing. It does not yet replace a 12 or 14-bit RAW development like Lightroom or darktable.
Can I edit video?
Yes, in beta. You can open short clips, apply underwater presets, adjust the intensity and export the result in WebM straight from the browser.
Does it cost anything?
No. Everything is free: the editing, every preset and the watermark-free download. There is no sign-up, no paid tier and no photo limit.
